Tips & Trends

The kitchen has increasingly become the heart of the home, not only used for cooking but for socialising and entertaining too.  The latest styles of kitchens try to combine these practical as well as enjoyable elements.

Varying Worktops

Sociable and welcoming kitchens are those that match the personality of the home with distinct areas encapsulated in its design.  Functional areas such as food preparation and eating space can be defined with different heights of worktops or even different materials.

Seating Areas

Standard worktop heights are designed for standing at cooking at, but are not always practical to sit at.  A lower table height surface in the same material, gives continunity but also a clearly defined area where you can sit and eat.
